There comes a point, sometimes almost imperceptibly, when life begins to turn.

Not with urgency or drama, but with a quiet sense that something is shifting. For me, that space has opened in what I think of as the last third. Not a time of winding down, but of waking up a little more. Of paying closer attention. Of choosing how I want to live with greater honesty, care and, perhaps, a little more courage.

The Quiet Turning is a place to pause and reflect. It is a space for thoughts on change, on letting go of what no longer fits, and on the slow, often uncertain movement towards something new. Much of this journey is shaped by a growing pull towards the land. A search for a simpler, more grounded way of living, perhaps somewhere in Wales, where life can be lived more lightly and with intention.

I do not have a fixed plan, and that feels important. This is not a story about arriving neatly at an answer, but about noticing what unfolds along the way. There is something deeply reassuring in allowing life to emerge in its own time, rather than trying to force it into shape.
